ANGAMMADILLA NATIONAL PARK
Angammadilla is the place of supply spirit to Parakrama Samuddraya. There is a Dam built by King Great Parakramabahu a cross the Amban River. This Water bring up to Parakrama Samuddraya via Yoda Cannel. Consider of importance of this area announced as a National Park in 2006.There is a 7528ha.Minneriya and Wasgamuwa national Parks combined because of this. Therefore it’s have a very favorite path of the wild Elephants. As well as here biodiversity was increased by Sudu kanda and Mahiyawa Tank.
It is having valuable trees like Burutha,Kaluwara,Kalumadiriya,Milla,Palu,Weera etc.Wild Elephants, Samber Deers, Axis Deers, Mouse Deers (Chevrotain),Water Bufflows, Wild Boars, Porcupines, Jungalefawl, Peafowl, Tortoise also can be seen. Many Birds can be seen around the drainage basin. This place is very useful for wildlife Photographers, as well as person who is loving wild life. Therefore we must protect this park for our future Generation.
අංගම්මැඩිල්ල ජාතික වනෝද්යානය පැරකුම් සමුද්රයට ජීවය සපයන දිය දහර ඇරඹෙන ස්ථානය අංගම්මැඩිල්ලයි.සුන්දර අඹන් ගඟ හරහා පෙර රජ දවස බැඳි වේල්ලකින් යෝධ ඇල හරහා පරාක්රම සමුද්රයය වෙත ජලය සපයන ස්ථානය හා ඒ අවට ප්රදේශය ජාතික උද්යානයක් බවට පත්ව ඇත්තේ 2006 වසරේදීය.මෙම වනෝද්යානයේ වපසරිය හෙක්ටයාර 7829 කි.මෙහි මායිම් වස්ගමුව වනාන්තරය දක්වාම පැතිර පවතී.වස්ගොමුව ජාතික වනෝද්‍යාන‍යේ උතුරු කොනත්, මින්නේරිය ජාතික වනෝද්යානයත් එකිනෙක සම්බන්ධ කරනුයේ මෙම අංගම්මැඩිල්ල වන රොදයි.එම නිසා මෙය කදිම අලි මං පෙතකි.මෙහි ඇති සුදු කන්ද හා මහයියාව වැව වනෝද්යානයේ ජෛව විවිධත්වය වැඩි කිරීමට මහෝපකාරීවේ. මෙහි බුරුත, ක‍ළුවර,කළු මැදිරිය,හල් මිල්ල,පලු,වීර වැනි වටිනා ශාකද, වෙනත් ‍‍ෙඖෂධ වර්ගද බහුලව පවතී.තවද, වන අලින්,මුවන්,ගෝනුන්,වල් ඌරන්,ඉත්තෑවන්,මී මින්නන්,මොණරුන්,වලි කුකුලන් සහ ඉබ්බන්ද සුලභව දැකිය හැක.ජලචර පක්ෂීන්ද මේ වනෝද්යානය තුල බොහෝ ලෙස දැකිය හැක.වනගත ඡායාරූප ශිල්පීන්ටද, ගහකොල සතුනට ආදරය කරන සියළු දෙනාටද මෙය ඉතාම වැදගත් ස්ථානයක් වනු නොඅනුමානයි.මෙය රැක ගැනීම ඔබ අප සැමගේ වගකීමකි.
